Extremely quiet restaurant, so we hardly dared to speak :-) The waiters spoke very quiet and seemed a bit nervous. When we said the food was very good, the waiter wanted us to explain WHAT was so good... Eh? But the food was lovely and we had the tasting menu.

Suurepärase atmosfääri ja interjööriga restoran. Vaimustav koht lõõgastumiseks ja toidu nautimiseks. Soovitan väga viia sinna väliskülalisi, et tutvustada Eestist pärit toitu. Lisaboonus pahelistele külalistele mõeldud kultuurne suitsutuba.

Supper for two

We had a great visit at Stenhus. Food was excellent and service was really nice. Smooth jazz was playing in the background and the atmosphere was romantic as it was an old building's cellar space with candles. Only minus for our visit came from the fact that there was a smoking room nearby from where the smell came to the dining hall. This could be planned better. Otherwise our visit was spot on.

Great food, bad service

Perfect food! But awful service, broken hifi system giving high pitch sounds and when asked to switch it off personnel looking badly at us, at 22:30 they make it clear that you should go home soon, they start cleaning up, switching off lights (bill of more then 300 EUR paid and this happened??!!) . They really do not underline the perfect cooks art... We wouldn’t recommend not return, there are cheaper places with perfect kitchen and perfect service in Tallinn..!!!!

Fantastic

Fabulous place to eat in Tallinn. The cave room and log fire really set the tone. And then a menu all full of Estonian local produce is a great introduction to the city and country! The pike was cooked to perfection, balanced lovely with the buttery sauce. I definitely recommend eating here!

Посещение ресторана принесло много приятных эмоций. Понравилось всё: и атмосферный интерьер, и живой огонь в камине, и вкуснейшие, очень красиво сервированные блюда. Особенно хочется поблагодарить официантку Полину за внимательное отношение и прекрасное обслуживание. Спасибо за незабываемое время, проведенное в вашем ресторане!

Christmas dinner at Stenhus

Really friendly service. Our waiter recommended the best dishes and absolutely fantastic wines. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with cozy lightning and even a fireplace. Great value for the money. We were taken really good care of

Perfect

We spent a lovely evening dining and celebrating my husbands birthday. Meal was delicious, service couldn't be better. They even took notice of the birthday. We can highly recommend this place!

Vi hadde bestilt bord og hele veien fått veldig god service i anledning feiring av et jubileum. Flott hotell beliggende i gamlebyen. Stemningsfull restaurant med nydelig dekket bord, lys og fyr i peisen. Rikholdig meny og nydelig mat, godt utvalg av vin og igjen god service. Dette ble en helaften! Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.
